This festival is a highlight of the weekend’s festivities, featuring musical performances from artists like Lil Jon, Ginuwine, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. It is a 21-and-over event, and general admission tickets start at $79.

In addition to the festival, the 2nd Saturday San Antonio Mother’s Day Market is scheduled for May 10 from 6 PM to 10 PM at Main Plaza. This free outdoor market features local pop-up vendors, crafters, and live entertainment from groups such as Abuelitas de Oro and Youth Bands from Music on Magnolia, making it a perfect outing for families and shoppers alike.

Entertainment continues with a presentation of “Coppélia” by the Alamo City Dance Company and Symphony Viva at Our Lady of the Lake University on May 10, with performances at both 2 PM and 7 PM. Tickets for this delightful dance presentation start at $20, providing an enjoyable option for audiences of all ages.

On Mother’s Day itself, the YOSA Philharmonic will present “Firebird Dance” at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts at 7 PM, inviting music lovers to indulge in an evening of great art with tickets starting at just $15.

Additionally, for a unique experience under the stars, a free outdoor screening of the acclaimed musical “Wicked” will occur near the Tower, where food and drinks will be available for purchase, offering families a chance to relax and enjoy delightful performances in a picturesque setting.

This vibrant weekend wraps up with a performance by Megan Moroney at Cowboys Dancehall on May 11, as part of her “Am I Okay? Tour.” This concert presents yet another opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate.
