San Antonio – The San Antonio Police Department is currently searching for a man wanted in connection with a crime spree involving multiple liquor store robberies. The most recent incident occurred on April 29 at around 9 p.m. at the LOL Liquor store located near N Foster Road and Old Seguin Road. Law enforcement officials report that the suspect entered the establishment and brandished a knife at a male customer during the robbery before fleeing the scene.

In addition to the latest robbery, authorities are investigating another robbery that took place on December 10 at approximately 7:15 p.m. at Rodry Liquor, situated near Stone Oak Parkway and Loop 1604. In this earlier incident, the suspect approached a female employee with his right hand in his pocket, which implied he had a weapon. The suspect demanded cash from the register and the victim’s wallet before making his escape.

Moreover, on March 11, yet another robbery occurred at House of Liquors located in the 7600 block of Culebra Road around 1:45 p.m. During this incident, the suspect stole several bottles of liquor. When a 45-year-old man attempted to intervene, a firearm fell from the suspect’s pants. The suspect then picked up the weapon and pointed it at the man before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

The San Antonio Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding these incidents or the identity of the suspect to contact them at (210) 244-STOP. Authorities emphasize the importance of community assistance in resolving these cases, which have put local liquor store employees and customers at risk.

Crime Stoppers has announced that it will offer a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of individuals involved in these robberies. This initiative aims to encourage community members to come forward with tips that could help law enforcement apprehend suspects who are targeting liquor stores in the area.

These recent crimes have raised concerns not just for the victims but also among local residents who frequent such establishments. As the investigation continues, the police are increasing their patrols in and around liquor stores in San Antonio to prevent further incidents and ensure the safety of customers and staff alike.

The string of liquor store robberies highlights the increasing trend of similar crimes in urban settings, where suspects often resort to weapons to threaten employees and customers. The police have expressed their commitment to investigate these incidents thoroughly and work towards bringing those responsible to justice.

Community members are reminded to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to local authorities. The effective cooperation between the police and the public is vital in addressing crime and enhancing the overall security of neighborhoods.
