Richard is remembered for his strong family bond, having four brothers—Carlos, Bobby, Jimmy, and Ruben—along with half-sisters Barbara and Dolores. He also had a close relationship with his stepdaughters, Megan and Courtney, and the numerous nieces and nephews who adored him.
