Together, they nurtured a loving family, welcoming six children into their lives: Meliton Borrego Jr., Joe Borrego (and his wife Olivia), Benito Borrego, Adam Borrego, and daughter Selina Borrego, all of whom reside in Sabinal, Texas.
In addition to her children, Alicia is survived by her four sons and daughter, as well as her daughter-in-law, Anita Borrego of Abilene, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also had a close-knit family of siblings, including brothers Roberto Amescua (and wife Elva) of Uvalde, Texas, and Luis Amescua (and wife Odilia) of Sabinal. Her sisters are Rosalinda A. Soriano (and husband Domingo) of San Antonio, Texas, and Estella A. Borrego (and husband Rodolfo) of Sabinal.
Alicia was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Israel Borrego, along with her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Borrego.
