This festival began as a way to commemorate the Battles of the Alamo and San Jacinto, but it has evolved into a celebration of San Antonio’s unique culture. Because there will be a lot of walking, wear your brightest clothes and a comfortable pair of shoes. This event consists of a number of different activities. Women in yellow clothing and caps march in the Battle of Flowers Parade. Enjoy the Fiesta Flambeau Parade, which comprises the lighting up of the downtown area’s streets. Make sure to see the River Walk boat parade as well. Any festival would be incomplete without food, and here you’ll find a wide range of street food and beverages, including fresh fruit cups, margaritas, and a presentation of Texas’ six regional cuisines from various chefs. This festival is a melting pot of Texas cuisine and culture.
